Qualifications

Sunrise Childcare/Preschool is licensed by the State of Colorado and accredited by the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools.  The staff are committed Christians with a love for the Lord and each child in their care.  They teach and live Christian values in and out of the classroom.  The key staff members are highly qualified.  The Group Leaders have either an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education or their Child Development Association Credential, as well as years of experience in Early Childhood education.  Some of the saff members are Director qualified through the State of Colorado and are at an EC Level 2.

Other credentials:

The Pre-K Teacher has a Bachelor Degree in Elelmentary Education and more than 20 years experience working in the Pre-K program.

Another staff member has a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication, and 5 years experience working with children.

And yet another staff member has an Associate of Applied Science Degree and 3 1/2 years experince working with children.

To ensure high quality and the best in childcare services, each staff member keeps up and attends Early Childhood classes and workships that are offered throughout the year.  Each year the staff must receive 15 workshop hours in addition to their degrees or experience.
