Bobby Wilson, Senior Pastor

 BIO & EMAIL

bobby--alvena-wilson---senior-pastor.pngWe came to Pueblo July 4, 1968 and began a pastoral ministry that continues today. It has been a ‘dream journey’ to work with a congregation with passion, vision and love for each other.

Alvena and I were married in 1959 and we began our ministry at Maypearl, Texas while we were students at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. I graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor of Arts and a Junior College Diploma. Academically, I have received a Certificate of Diploma in Pastoral Care. After graduation, we pastored in Keota, Oklahoma for one year. From there, we moved into evangelistic field ministry, traveling for six years preaching revivals and evangelistic crusades.

In the Rocky Mountain District of the Assemblies of God I have been privileged to serve as presbyter, executive presbyter, assistant superintendent and general presbyter for the Assemblies of God. I have been privileged to preach many camp meetings, conventions and conferences, and in 1989 was privileged to be selected to speak at the General Council in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Alvena has worked by my side and contributed much to our shared labors. We have three children and six grandchildren. Pueblo has been a great home for us and Praise Assembly Is our dear family in the Lord.
