BIO & EMAIL  Kim Chapin serves as Music & Media pastor by creating an atmosphere of worship through music and thereby usher in the presence of the Lord. One of the primary purposes of worship is to “exalt God through worship and praise.” Jesus tells us in John 4:23 that the Father is seeking those who will worship Him in “spirit and truth.” He dwells in the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). The Music Ministry at Praise considers it a privilege to serve God’s people through the vehicle of music and media.Kim is an accomplished vocalist and pianist, and has been active in the music industry for over 17 years. Her background includes teaching K-12th grade music in private schools, as well as instructing private vocal and instrument lessons with students of all ages. However, her greatest love in music is worship. Kim has served over 20 years as a worship leader, and has a special sensitivity to the Spirit with the ability to flow in a worship service. She has a powerful ministry in music, and ministers regularly at worship conferences and women's events. Kim and her husband, Phil, have been married 16 years, and have two beautiful daughters, Kali and Kennedi.
