Cedars of Lebanon (65+)
SENIOR’S MINISTRY

The 60+ crowd at Praise call them themselves the “Cedars of Lebanon” (Psalm 92:14).
They meet for Bible Study on Sunday mornings and for lunch once monthly.  They enjoy great ministry in music, fellowship and worship.  They also enjoy short trips and special events throughout the year.

Sundays – Rm  126 – 9am
2nd Tuesday of every month- Country Buffet - 11:30 am

Current statistics show that Seniors are the fastest growing segment of our society. Compared to other age groups, Seniors are:
  •     the most financially secure,
  •     the most experienced in life, and
  •     they exercise the most political power.

Most Seniors do not want to be discounted and they need to continue to be contributing members of their community.

Mission Statement:
According to Psalm 92:12-15, the Seniors of Praise will be:
  •     planted and flourish,
  •     produce spiritual fruit, and
  •     grow in Grace.

With knowledge and wisdom they will present their testimonies as living memorials to the uprightness of the Lord.

For Christ, they will influence other Seniors, younger families and the youth by example and one-on-one compassionate love.
