Steve Chavez
I have served as the lead pastor of Pueblo Praise Assembly for the past 10 years. I served as the chaplain for the CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves College football team for 13 years. Prior to that, I was the DYD of the Rocky Mountain Ministry Network from 1999 to 2004.
My wife, Bonnie, and I began ministry in 1991 as youth pastors at Praise and spoke at youth camps and conventions across the Country, We have three adult children; one is a Detective, one is a State Patrolman and one is a Pilot. We have a precious daughter in-law and a beautiful grandbaby, Avery, and a grandson on the way!
I am passionate about preaching and leading in God’s church.
